Alex shifted uncomfortably. I knew that he was probably thinking of words to say to Jay. I decided that I should step in here.

"What do you mean Jayden?" I asked.

"I saw, that day I mean. You came in the house after leaving. You didn't come back for a day and then you came home. Dad was really mad and he was taking his anger out on me."

I felt tears coming into my eyes and my Aunt gulped. Jimmy and Jack had the same sad expression on their face. Alex's hand tightened around mine.

"You came home and Dad caught you. You guys got into this massive fight. I was in the hallway just above the room so I could see everything. I didn't know what to do. Then he came in. " She gestured to Alex. "He stood up for you and well, he saved you. He got you out of that horrible house. I just never realize it was Alex Gaskarth that did that."

I let go of Alex's hand and went over to Jayden. I pulled her into a hug. "It's okay Jay." I whispered into her ear as tears started to pour from her eyes.  "It's over. We will never see him again. You got out of there just like I did."

She nodded her head and wiped the tears from her eyes.

My aunt looked around for something to change the subject. Her eyes landed on the kitchen and locked in. "Why don't we have something to eat?"

We all walked into the kitchen and surprisingly the atmosphere lightened up. Within fifteen minutes Jack and Alex were joking around with Jimmy as me and Jay laughed along.  I had to give Alex and Jack a stern look every now and then so a curse wouldn't slip out.

Another fifteen minutes passed and Jim, Jack and Alex were all playing video games. Jayden came to me and sat down. I wrapped my arm around her and pulled her into my side.

"I wish I had what you did.'' She quietly whispered.

"What?" I asked, confused.

"You have love. It's so obvious that you and Alex love eachother. I'm terrified of it though. I'd just be afraid if I had a boyfriend that he would hurt me."

"You don't need to worry Jay. Nobody is going to hurt you anymore. I promise. You will find the perfect guy one day." I smiled down at her and she returned it with a big wide grin.

"Is Alex your perfect guy?" She said it a little too loud. Alex turned around with his crooked smile and waited for my answer.

"I think so." I smiled uncontrolably and stared straight at my perfect guy. I wanted to run over to him right now and kiss him.  I hugged Jay tighter and continued watching the guys play.

"We don't have to go if you don't want to Carls."

"No Alex, we have to. It's your home, it's your family. Let's go." I insisted.

We were heading to Alex's house so he could visit his mom. Alex was my neighbor four years ago. I knew I was going to see my father's house. I had no idea weather he still lived there or not, but just being near his house would bring back bad memories.

We managed to get a cab, but the driver drop us off in town because his shift was over. "What an asshole." Alex cursed under his breath.

"We'll just walk. It's not that far." I breathed out. I started to regret the decision of going to his house.

Alex looked at me sympathetically. "Carly, we don't have to do this."

"Yes. you need to visit your family."

Alex kissed me on the lips and pulled me in against him. The kiss broke and we stayed in the same position. I rested my head on his shouled. "I need to do this. I need to get over this." I whispered for no real reason.

We walked to his house in about ten minutes. My eyes directly went to my old house. I saw my old window to my room and goosbumps went down my spine. Alex hand went to my back. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine. Come on, let's go inside."

We walked to the front door and Alex opened it without an invitation. "Hello!" He called out and there was a scream. I gave him a confused look while he chuckled.

"Alex!" Mrs. Gaskarth came running down the stairs and shouted his name. She gave him a kiss on the cheek and hugged him tightly.

She pulled back and stared at me questionigly. Great. Her eyes widened. "Carly Dayson? Is that you?"

I smiled "You remember me?"

She laughed and gave me a great hug. "Oh sweetheart how could I not! You were the best girlfriend Alex had! It was such a disapointment when you two broke up."  She pouted.

I could see Alex smiling out of the corner of my eye. She wrapped his arm around my waist. Mrs. Gaskarth's face lit up. "No way!" she yelled and hugged the two of us. "That is just wonderful! Well welcome home you two. Let's have some dinner!"

Alex's mother left the room to enter the kitchen. Me and Alex stood there alone.

"Oh yeah! I almost forgot!" He practically shouted.

"What?"

"I'm your perfect guy?" He asked with a cocky grin on his face.

I shook my head and chuckled. "That depends, am I your perfect girl?"

"Your my awesome perfect wonderful greatest girl and I've waited for you forever and I finally have you and it's the most amazing thing in the world."

I stood there speechless and at the same time giggling a bit. At that moment I almost let the three words slip out. I almost said I love you to him, but Mrs. Gaskarth came in.

"Come on you two. Dinner is ready!"

I smiled at Alex and pressed my lips hard against his. 

"You are my perfect guy." I grinned at him.

I enjoy this chapter. I find it very cute. =)
Just a heads up- I'm not really 100% sure yet, but this might come to an end soon.
It kind of kills me to say that though =(
BUTTT don't worry. I have two other ideas in my head for new fanfics.
Don't get to sad though. I still have ideas for this one =)))
